Journey Two Serenity

My name is Michelle Milligan.

I am a licensed clinical social worker providing psychotherapy services to children starting at the age of 14 and adults with a wide range of developmental and mental health concerns. I offer individual, couples, and family therapy.

Theoretical Approach to working with clients…

Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy “CBT”, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy “TF-CBT”, Brief Therapy/ Problem Focused Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. I specialize in mood disorders (depression and bipolar), anxiety (social phobia and PTSD), transitional stressors (divorce, grief, occupational and family changes), couples and family counseling, behavioral problems with adolescents, ADD and AD/HD, and problems with anger and impulsivity.  Now focusing on working with clients that have experienced racism in the workplace

Client issue strengths?
I am compassionate, honest, and supportive when working together with clients to meet their treatment goals. I also have the ability to “connect” with children, teens, and family issues, as well the ability to be “direct” when needed.

For me, therapy is… Having the courage and willingness to grow and change to make your life better.

Dear Client’s,

Journey Two Serenity is now offer Teletherapy as our primary therapeutic treatment and care for clients who meet the guidelines under their insurance policy.  (You will need to contact your insurance provider to verify if your policy covers this service before making an appointment with me). However, currently most insurance providers are now covering this service for therapist to continue the continuity of care with their clients during this time.

Currently, I’m using Doxy.me  https://doxy.me/journeytwoserenity. Please note that I am not using the basic software which is free therefore, I will be  charge between $3.00 or $ 5.00 for every telehealth session. Please read over this email and if you agree to the potential charges of $3.00 or $5.00 dollars per session.  Please go ahead and log on for your therapeutic session. I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you but unfortunately, adding this new feature to my practice will in fact cost me more money even if I don’t use the software.
